J’ai commencé à regarder Colony et cette nouvelle série promet beaucoup, les 2 premiers épisodes sont très sympas et on a vite envie de découvrir la suite, voici le pitch pour ceux que ça intéresse, perso j’approuve 😉 “In the not-too-distant future, Los Angeles has been invaded and occupied by outside forces, causing a rift between the city’s residents; some have collaborated with the occupation, while others are rebelling and suffering the consequences that come with that choice. Former FBI agent Will Bowman and his wife, Katie, must consider their familial obligations when making their decision because they were separated from their son, Bram, during the invasion. Proxy Snyder, a cunning and powerful leader within the occupational government, offers Will the opportunity to get Bram back if he works with the invading faction. Will’s decision doesn’t sit well with Katie, but the couple risk their lives — and their relationship — to protect their family.”

Choi Dong-Hoon est un de mes réalisateurs préférés depuis the Big Swindle (ce film est excellent) et j’ai enfin pu voir hier soir son dernier film, Assassination. J’ai beaucoup aimé, très bon film dans la Corée des années 30-40 (pendant la colonisation Japonaise), on retrouve au casting de nombreux acteurs déjà présents dans The Thieves (son précédent film), notamment Jeon Ji-Hyun que j’adore et Lee Jung-Jae. Le film a cartonné en Corée avec environ 12mn d’entrées et voici le pitch rien que pour vous 😀 “Set in the 1930s during Japan’s colonial rule of Korea, many Korean resistance activists are based in Manchuria, northeastern China while hiding from Japanese authorities. In 1933, orders are given to assassinate Kawaguchi Mamoru, the governor of the Japanese garrison in Gyeongseong, and Kang In-gook, a pro-Japanese Korean business tycoon. For this covert mission, Yeom Seok-jin, an agent of the provisional Korean government who had broken out of prison in 1911, is tasked to do the same for three people and bring them to Shanghai: topnotch sniper Ahn Ok-yun, who’s in a Manchurian jail for shooting her superior; Chu Sang-ok (nicknamed “Big Gun”), one of the last graduates of the Independence Military School and in prison after stealing guns from Chiang Kai-shek’s army then selling them; and Chu’s cellmate Hwang Deok-sam, an explosives specialist imprisoned for selling faulty product. The squad arrives in Gyeongseong, not knowing that one of them is secretly working for the Japanese and has hired freelance assassin Hawaii Pistol and his sidekick Old Man to kill members of the team”.
