Je viens de récuperer la 1ère saison de Penny Dreadful (8 épisodes) et avant de m’y mettre, j’aimerais savoir si certains d’entre vous avaient déjà vu cette série et si c’était sympa? Le casting a l’air prometteur avec notamment Eva Green, Timothy Dalton et Josh Hartnett ainsi que Sam Mendes à la production. J’attend vos feedbacks, thanks 😀

Un petit billet pour vous parler de la toute nouvelle série HBO “The Leftovers”, j’ai vu les 2 premiers épisodes hier soir et c’est tout simplement excellent, ça promet énormément 😉 Ce sont Damon Lindelof (un des créateurs et scénaristes de Lost) et Tom Perrotta qui dirigent tout ça et pour vous mettre l’eau à la bouche, voici le pitch, perso j’approuve et j’attend les prochains épisodes avec impatience 😀

“When 2% of the world’s population abruptly disappears without explanation, the world struggles to come to terms with what happened. Three years later, the HBO drama series, ‘The Leftovers’ is the story of the people who didn’t make the cut. Gros coup de coeur pour “Neighbors”, c’est excellent et j’ai rigolé comme un débile pendant tout le film 😀 C’est l’équipe du génial “This is the End” qui est à la realisation et on retrouve Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Dave Franco (le petit frère de James) et la ravissante Rose Byrne 😉 Un conseil, dès que ça sort en France, Foncez!!!!!!!!

Je rattrape mon retard et voici mon avis express sur les derniers films que j’ai vu ainsi qu’un petit bonus avec 2 magazines que je vous recommande.
Kick Ass Girls: Des jolies filles, des combats sympathiques, c’est mimi, c’est frais et assez jouissif, à voir 😉
Frozen: Excellent, un des meilleurs Disney de ces dernières années, Yéna a adoré, let it gooooooooo 😀
Young Detective Dee, Rise of the Sea Dragon: Super film, très divertissant, bon scénario, du tout bon 😉
Braquo 3: Je suis fan, très bonne saison, du lourd, l’une des meilleures series Françaises du moment, foncez!!!
Snowpiercer: Tout simplement génial!! l’adaptation ciné d’une BD Française avec l’excellent Song Kang-Ho, réalisé par Bong Joon-Ho (Memories of Murder, The Host, Mother…) et produit par Park Chan-Wook (Oldboy, JSA…), du tout bon, à voir de toute urgence!!!!!
Et enfin, 2 magazines que j’aime beaucoup, Maxim Korea, pas de surprise, je vous en parle souvent et Fricote, avec ce mois, quelques bonnes adresses sur Séoul 😉

Après les films (que j’ai bien aimé, notamment le 1er), voici la série TV, yessssss 😀 Et c’est toujours Robert Rodriguez à la production, j’ai récupéré le premier épisode et je vais regarder ça ce week-end, je vous tiens au courant. NBC vient de diffuser (dimanche dernier) sa nouvelle série “Believe – an extraordinary girl about to change the world” créée entre autres par les excellents Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity) et JJ Abrams (Lost, Star Trek Into Darkness…) et après avoir vu le premier épisode, je trouve ça très prometteur. Voici le picth “Levitation, telekinesis, the ability to control nature, see the future… since she was born, Bo (Johnny Sequoyah) has had gifts she could neither fully understand nor control. But now that she is 10 years old, her powers have become stronger and the threat from malevolent forces that would use her abilities to control the world has grown more dangerous. With her life and future in jeopardy, Bo’s protector, Milton Winter (Delroy Lindo), turns to an unlikely source to keep her safe – Tate (Jake McLaughlin), a wrongfully imprisoned death row inmate who’s lost his will. Un petit billet en vrac avec quelques découvertes, des toys, des films et l’arrivée d’un petit nouveau 😉 Je commence avec les films, tout d’abord, le sympathique film coréen Mr Go, où quand King Kong meets Major League (les Indians en Français), c’est excellent, on rit, on pleure, et c’est super bien fait, belle découverte, ensuite Total Recall (version 2013), j’ai acheté le combo Bluray/DVD à $4,99 aux USA et bonne surprise, c’est un remake assez intelligent, l’histoire est légèrement différente du film original (tout en conservant une partie commune) et c’est bien divertissant, je le recommande. Je continue avec les toys et l’arrivée de 2 nouvelles pièces, un Kaws Resting Place Companion et un Mickey Welcome par Lebon-Delienne que je trouve très jolis. Et pour finir, mon calendrier 2014 Maxim X World of Tanks X Korean Racing Girls et mon nouvel Olympus E-P5 acheté en Corée il y’a 15 jours. J’ai fait une super affaire par rapport au prix Français et pour avoir joué avec la semaine dernière à Barcelone, je confirme que c’est un excellent appareil, j’approuve 😉

La dernière série HBO “True Detective” vient de commencer et le 1er épisode est plus que prometteur, c’est sombre, angoissant, envoûtant, lent… On navigue entre 1995 et 2012, et c’est super bien fait. Les critiques sont excellentes, le casting également (avec Matthew McConaughey et Woody Harrelson notamment) et on a vite envie de découvrir la suite 😉 Voici un petit résumé pour vous donner envie “True Detective is many things at once — an immersive character study, a gripping head-trippy murder mystery, a psychological profile of the anti-hero zeitgeist, a tour de force for Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. But simply and deeply, it is a story about two men telling a story. Rust Cohle (McConaughey) is a flickering ghost of a man who works four days a week and spends the other three drinking himself numb. Martin Hart (Harrelson) is a healthy-living P.I. whose good-old-boy humility, Bible Belt faith, and family man virtue belies so much hypocrisy. Both were detectives once — and for seven years, partners — and the tale they tell concerns a journey into some seriously noir woods, literally and metaphorically, that wrecked them and haunts them still. The more they talk, the more we see who they are, even as we wonder how much of what they’re saying is really true”. A voir absolument et vivement Dimanche prochain!!!

Et voici une autre série que je trouve très réussie, ça s’appelle “The Blacklist” et ça passe chaque semaine sur NBC. Pour l’instant, 10 épisodes ont été diffusés et c’est du très très lourd 😉 Voici le pitch “Raymond “Red” Reddington, one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, surrenders at FBI Headquarters in Washington. He claims the FBI and he have similar interests in getting rid of dangerous criminals and terrorists. Reddington will cooperate only with Elizabeth Keen, a rookie FBI profiler. Keen questions Reddington’s sudden interest in her, but Reddington will only reveal that she is very special. After the FBI uses Reddington’s information to locate a terrorist, Reddington reveals that this terrorist is only the first of many criminals that he will help them neutralize. Over the course of his own criminal career, he has made a list of global criminals who he believes are truly dangerous to society, most of whom are unknown to the FBI. He calls it The Blacklist.” et vivement les prochains épisodes 😉
