Certains pays ou régions sont connus/reconnus pour leur spécialités, la Corée pour son Kimchi et ses Racing Girls, le Japon pour ses Samouraïs, la Suède pour ses jolies filles, l’Angleterre pour sa délicieuse gastronomie et son légendaire beau temps (non je plaisante :D) et HK pour ses polars 😉 et dimanche soir, je me suis regardé “Overheard”, et comme souvent, j’ai passé un super moment. Y’a pas à dire, nos amis Hongkongais sont vraiment doués pour ce genre cinématographique (Infernal Affairs, quelle trilogie!!!!) et c’est toujours avec grand plaisir que je regarde un petit polar HK 😉 Pour en revenir à Overheard, voici un petit résumé de l’histoire: “Cops Johnny (Lau Ching Wan), Gene (Louis Koo), and Max (Daniel Wu) are part of a special task force investigating a business firm that engages in financial crimes. While monitoring slimy executive Low (Waise Lee), Gene overhears an illegal stock tip. Gene is married with kids, one of whom is battling cancer, and he himself has just been diagnosed with a terminal illness; he desperately wants to leave money behind for his family. Max is soon marrying into an overbearing rich family, and wants to prove himself financially. The two decide to make a gamble, and throw their life savings into the stock. Johnny who’s harboring some secrets of his own covers for them. For these three cops who have always played it straight, all it takes is one wrong step to send them into a vicious crime spiral of no return.” Comme vous pouvez le voir, il y’a de sacrés acteurs, à noter également la présence de Michael Wong (les puristes apprécieront). Au final, un bon petit film que je vous recommande, vous pouvez y aller sans problème, parole de Cut 😀
